On the 8th May a group of us
enjoyed a leisurely afternoon sailing along
the Basingstoke Canal on the John Pinkerton
from Odiham Wharf to King John's Castle.
There we disembarked and had a wander round
discovering the history of the place while
the crew turned the boat around.
Because it was the 80th
anniversary of VE Day we had decorated the
boat with bunting.
Fish and chips were enjoyed on board and the
bar was open for hot and cold drinks.

Summer Dance - July 2025

Saturday 5th July we had our second
Summer Dance at The Memorial Hall in Farnham.
'Out

those who attended said how much they enjoyed
the evening.
Memories
of life in our youth came flooding back as we
watched the visual display and danced to such
familiar songs.
