New Year
Party
January 2019
The annual party was
held at Weybourne Village Hall on 12th
January 2019. Members supplied a wonderful
selection of food and , as usual , took
their own drink.
A great evening was
enjoyed by all and the entertainment was
provided by the Ukanhop ukulele band.
Once again , Dennis
and Pat Cook worked hard to organise the
club raffle which was drawn at the party
and raised £571 for the Phyllis Tuckwell
Hospice.

A good crowd
watched the final of the club's pairs
bowls competition for the Rowlandson
Trophy. After an exciting match, Hazel
Upton and Steve Orson beat Dennis Cook
and Howard Dale.

delighted to welcome 3 members of the
Rowlandson family to present the medals.

attended a celebration for John Walker's
100th birthday.
The club
provided a wonderful cake, made by Janet
Key, which was quickly devoured.

& PUB LUNCH

On 12th
September a group of members enjoyed a 5
mile walk followed by a pub lunch at the
Bluebell Inn , Dockenfield.
